I was born in Los Angeles, California. Moved to the St. Louis area with my father and mother when I was 12. I attended school in Jefferson County and became a dancer/ choreographer. I grew up loving the outdoors, playing many different sports such as softball and soccer and had a passion for dance and art. As I got older, I found joy in going to events whether it was a music festival or even just a birthday party. I enjoy all music, going to the movies, going out on the boat every weekend during the summer and having game night with the family. I started planning events just for fun as I got older such as baby showers, birthday parties, holiday parties and my favorite, bachelorette parties and weddings. It was a passion and hobby of mine for quite some time. After high school I attended college and majored in business and even decided to go to Cosmotology School.
To my own surprise I became interested in the medical field and wanted to become an EMT but with a boating accident that prevented me to continue, I ended up following my passion by going to Ashworth College to be a certified event planner. My plan was to work for another event organization but realized how much I really wanted to create my own business as an event planner. I decided to specialize in wedding planning because, well of course, I love love.
I am definitely the one that you will see at a wedding crying. I find joy in every ceremony that I attend and even though I have spent time getting to know the couple before their wedding day, I still can’t help but cry when I see the couple become husband and wife. Creating a wedding and putting it into action is what I love doing. I treat every wedding or any other event like it is my own. I have the vision, drive and the determination to see every little detail of your wedding come to life.
And of course I had to plan my own wedding and besides it becoming overwhelming at times, it was truly a magical day!! Planning your big day is definitely ever bride’s favorite thing to do but I wouldn’t be telling you the truth if I told you I didn’t have any help. Even the professionals need help. I strongly advise you to hire someone that truly is passionate and that will treat it like it’s their own. That is me! Now lets get down to business!
